The role will specifically entail:
- - Interpreting architectural plans and working from a project brief
- - Creating and managing the creation of 3D models in your preferred software package
- - Liaising with sales staff to produce a desired result, through a structured approval process
- - Preparing the 3D models with material shading, lighting, atmosphere and population
- - Managing the final rendering process
- - Compositing rendered shots prior to delivery of the final product
As we do cover other multimedia services, your role may expand to include:
- - Production of animated and interactive virtual tours for touchscreen and online applications.
- - Industrial design, event concept and commercial visualisation.
Applicants should excel in the following software packages:
- - Autodesk 3D Studio Max or Maya and Mental Ray or Vray rendering engines
- - Experience in VUE and Autocad packages is a bonus but not mandatory
- - Adobe Photoshop or Corel Paintshop Pro
- - Adobe After Effects or final Cut Pro
Attendance at our South Melbourne office during business hours is preferred but not necessary provided you have the ability to communicate over Skype and are proficient in working remotely.
You require:
- - At least 2 Years of experience working on 3D architectural visualisation projects
- - Your own Australian Business Number (ABN)
You will need to demonstrate:
- - An outstanding portfolio showing flair for aesthetic and technical creativity
- - An strong aptitude for strict quality control whilst working to a schedule
- - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- - Ability to understand and interpret architectural plans
- - A solid yet practical work ethic
- - Desire to constantly learn and improve your skillset
- - Knowledge of new 3D technology in visualisation
