Everything at your fingertips!
There are many ways to present conceptual building plans to an audience. Many of which have their own advantages and disadvantages in communicating the ideas across in a effective and informative fashion. So what is the single best way to present a building concept? The answer is: None of the them!
The Interactive Presentation Model as crafted by Virteer, is a resource that combines the advantages of seeing your building design in a virtual 3D space from any angle. Along with the relevant plans, annotations and documentation, all provided in context, in a highly accessible, intuitive manner.
A Valued Resource
Among our most valued clients are Sodexo Remote Sites, who have used this solution to successfully present their concept for services infrastructure at remote mining sites to large mining companies, Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton. Our most recent presentation application produced for Sodexo was used to virtually "walk" viewers around the facilty of their own accord. This provided the unique ability to closely and thoughroughly, inspect details at their own pace, from kitchen & diner layouts, to branding implementation and food preparation and display equipment.
Stonehenge Homes continue to enthusiastically utilise our digital models to not only draw up concepts of their latest development design for inspecting their design, but producing comprehensive material for numerous town-planning meetings to building imagery for marketing their developments in a myriad of ways. Projects have ranged from retirement housing developments and the aged care facility in Swan Hill, luxury townhouse developments in Williamstown and a number of custom home projects around the Melbourne metro area among others.
RBI Architects regularly take advantage of this service by using the virtual models to present designs for several large Miele showrooms and in-store displays in the Asia/Pacific region. The ability to virtually walk through the stores, inspect the stands, products and finishes at their leisure makes for an absorbing and informative experience.
Federation Square in conjunction with The Big Issue were able to identify and resolve many key issues for pedestrian traffic, advertising and tenant exposure whilst planning out the stands for the Homeless World Cup in December 2008. The resulting structure was host to some 56 competing nations, playing on the single largest event setup in the history of Federation Square.
Easy to use service
The service to provide a comprehensive presentation resource like this needs to be as simple as possible. Hence Virteer maintains a focus on developing a streamlined experience of creating and operating the presentation media that is both clear and efficient for the client.
Because of our experience in dealing with conceptual plans, we're accustomed to working well with minimal plans. The virtual model can be constructed from as little or as much information that is available. Working from plans submitted as PDF, Virteer can craft the virtual model quickly and work with you to identify the changes that need to be made.
Our aim is to keep the service fast and simple. Once the model is constructed we add in further visual effects, insert annotations and further interactive features to the presentation application.
