The website has over 6000 users and using Virteers custom forms we were able to deliver a richer and more personal experience to the users.

And what we've achieved this week with the Buy Property Direct website is commonly stated as impossible.
The big tasks completed are showing a listing of properties tab on the development page,
And displaying search results as they appear in the listing view including extra fields and thumbnail images.

Impossible code made possible: Dynamic height for iframes based on the content. Picking apart the k2 extra fields system.

Everyone seems to "boo" iframes, though thorough testing on many browsers and platforms reveal that the iframes and our special code run without a hitch.
What's more, all this code is run dynamically to ensure the client will only ever have to enter information in once :)

Why is a handheld touch screen exciting for selling property?

It's been a hot topic for a few months now, and everyone is eagerly seeking to find out what the iPad can do next.

A few weeks ago Virteer caught up with the market and invested in some iPads for our future mobile interactive services.

The iPad is not the first touch screen in Virteers portfolio of interactive solutions, but it is the first compact device to greet our desks and that is exciting for a few reasons.

We have always had the belief that interactive 3D is the fastest and richest form of information. With the ability to add conventional 2D elements such as plans or artists impressions, as well as an interactive experience that allows users to explore spaces before the structure is built. This works for selling property since the agent can quickly take the vendor to a new property without ever setting a foot out of their office.

Our current touch screen solutions have been targeted towards showrooms or display centres. These projects have proved that providing knowledge to the vendor results in a faster sale for a more expensive price.

It's about selling the quality and style of living, not just another house.

Getting back to the possibilities of making this kind of service mobile. We can no longer talk about the future as this service exists today and can be found in the following iPad applications;

• In America, a company created their self named app Zillow that readily provides information on property for sale and houses for rent.
• Also based in America, Spark Labs developed Tour Wrist which allows 360 degree viewing of locations around the globe and is already adopted and widely used by the hotel industry.
• In New Zealand, a real estate agent closer to home have started developing their own application to offer a rich selling tool for their agents.

As you would imagine, these kind of solutions have not yet graced the shores of Australia as we are often receive technology several months after the rest of the world.

This is why we stay alert to bring you the latest in not just national, but global technology.

We seek to build on these examples above and create an experience that rivals our existing interactive 3D services.
